Let's Support W3PV's Mission By Making An Investment Towards A Better Future!
The Troy E. Quinn Scholarship Fund is the inaugural educational initiative established by W3PV, Inc. to support continued access to quality education at our Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This scholarship program, housed at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, designated a "National Treasure" by the National Trust for Historic Places, will assist deserving students to claim their rightful place on the continuum of higher education attainment and economic impact. This fund provides gap scholarships for students who often have a tuition balance of less than $1,000.
The Floyd E. Taliaferro, III, and Jack Dennis Scholarship Fund was established to honor the enduring legacy of mentorship, service, and principled leadership exemplified by Floyd E. Taliaferro, III, and Jack Dennis. Founded by Annette Wedderburn and Weyden Wedderburn, the fund reflects a deliberate commitment to translating gratitude and respect for transformative mentorship into tangible educational opportunity. At its core, the scholarship recognizes the profound impact that trusted guidance, high expectations, and consistent support can have on students’ academic trajectories and life outcomes.
The founders have pledged $20,000 over a four-year period toward this initiative, with an initial contribution of $2,500 already made. Each year, up to $5,000 in scholarships will be awarded to students matriculating at Morgan State University, reinforcing the belief that financial support, when paired with institutional excellence, can serve as a powerful catalyst for student persistence and success. The fund is designed not as a one-time gesture, but as a sustained investment in students who embody promise, resilience, and leadership potential.
This scholarship fund also serves as a call to collective stewardship. Individuals who have benefited from Mr. Taliaferro’s counsel, mentorship, and unwavering support are encouraged to extend that legacy by contributing to the fund, thereby ensuring that future generations of Morgan State students can access the same guidance and opportunity. Through shared commitment and generosity, the Floyd E. Taliaferro, III, and Jack Dennis Scholarship Fund advances a living legacy—one rooted in mentorship, sustained by community, and realized through educational empowerment.
The Marvin J. Bazemore Scholarship Fund honors the life and legacy of Marvin J. Bazemore, whose enduring commitment to education, brotherhood, and service left an indelible mark on the Newark community. A proud alumnus of St. Benedict’s Preparatory School (Class of 1983), Marvin embodied the school’s core values of discipline, faith, leadership, and community throughout his life. These formative principles shaped both his personal journey and his lifelong dedication to uplifting young men from underserved communities.
Rooted deeply in Newark, Marvin emerged as a respected community leader and activist who understood education as both a vehicle for individual advancement and a catalyst for collective empowerment. His leadership was defined not by visibility, but by consistency—through mentorship, advocacy, and service grounded in responsibility and care for future generations. He lived the ideals of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift as daily practice, demonstrating that authentic leadership is expressed through action, integrity, and compassion.
Established in his honor, the Marvin J. Bazemore Scholarship Fund provides financial support to students attending St. Benedict’s Preparatory School, ensuring that Marvin’s commitment to access, opportunity, and community transformation continues to shape lives. Through this fund, his legacy endures—not only in memory, but in the educational pathways opened for young scholars who will carry forward his vision of service-driven leadership and collective uplift.
The Moving Haiti Forward (MHF) Initiative is the inaugural social cause initiative established by W3PV, Inc. in its efforts to support victims of the earthquake in 2010 and Hurricane Matthew in 2016. The genesis of this initiative was birthed by Myriam Leonidas, a retired nurse from Cavaillon, Haiti. Myriam's strong christian faith and passion for healthcare motivated her to start doing mission trips to Haiti after the devastating earthquake in 2006. Cavaillon, a mountainous community in the southern part of Haiti about 5 hours from Port Au Prince was literally cut-off from receiving any support. As such, the need to support the people of Cavaillon was paramount to their survival. MHF powered by W3PV provides access to healthcare by offering 2 and 4 day clinics through its annual service trips. A donation of $100 can hire a local Haitian doctor that would be able to provide service for 75 people; likewise, a donation of $200 can hire a local Haitian dentist that would be able to provide service for 60 people. Last year, our team provided support to almost 400 people in the community of Cavaillon.
The Turiani Village Project. Upon returning from our visit to the Turiani Village in January 2022, W3PV ventured on its latest global initiative to provide resources for students attending the Turiani Primary School.
There are 700 students enrolled at the school and their ages range from 3 to 13 years old. The Turiani Primary School is desperately in need of help. The school was built in 1947 and has never been renovated. It is our mission to raise the next generation of leaders by increasing their probability to be great global citizens. The motto of the Turiani Primary School is "Education is their only way out." To achieve this goal, we rely on the generosity and support of compassionate individuals.
We have set a goal of $25,000 for this project. The proceeds from this campaign will be used to build a library at the school. We hope that you will consider making a contribution of $100 to help us meet this goal.
